So I read a lot of reviews about this mattress topper that complained about smell, quality, and overall chincyness. Sure, It's got some issues related to all three, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. They could have cut it to size less sloppily, and the smell took a couple weeks to really dissipate, but it works, it's pretty comfortable, and the issues raised have not affected the bottom line for me... it has made my bed more comfortable. Sheets on the bed also alleviate the strong smell. So I'm a pretty satisfied customer. 7 out of 10 overall rating.

This mattress topper is much thinner than expected (about 1"), and offers very little cushion to my bed. It also is slightly too small for my queen size bed, but can be stretched a little. If you already have a cushy mattress and just want to add some support, I imagine this would be a great topper, but if you're trying to add a layer of cushion to a firm mattress, this is not the product for you.

I bought this stone mainly for making pizzas but it does well with bread too. I first bought some Mexican unglazed floor tiles from Home Depot for the pizza cooking. They all cracked in the first 3 uses. I cook my pizzas at 550 degrees and the pizza stone is able to stay in one piece! I have not used any of the more expensive stones and at this point have no reason to try. I am also thinking of buying one more of these stones for making two pizzas at a time.

I have little magic chef gas oven in my vintage aluminum trailer. Now I can make authentic pizza with great tasting crisp crust.I must admit my first attempt was a disaster. I used a wooden pizza peel with some flour on it and tried to slide in on the stone but it stuck and sauce and toppings dripped on the stone and left a black stain I'm not sure I can scrape off. However once I started using parchment paper it works perfectly. I made some naan indian bread the other day and it worked great for that as well. I love this stone..before my pizza was burnt on one side and raw on the other. My old gas stove wasn't heating evenly..but this stone is just what the doctor ordered.

I bought this pizza stone to replace my old one that broke in half, I should have just kept the halves and baked on those! We own a decent size house (6000 square feet) our wireless router is in the basement. By placing this unit in the second floor it allowed my children and wife to enjoy a much better internet experience on the third floor where they do most of their computing, (on their desks in their bedrooms). I might add one more upstairs, but for now I'm no longer getting any complaints and happy that I purchased it. It really works.

The quick installation guide lacked a lot of detail, so minus a star for that. But I had a support tech on the phone in under a minute and she was very good, so they get the star back. I'm using it in access point mode with a Netgear powerline adapter and get very good signal strength on my iPhone and Kindle Fire - plenty to stream video on the Fire. I can't comment on how it works in repeater mode. Half my house that had little or no wifi connectivity is now network accessible.

I almost didn't order this device based on all of the one star reviews, but I use D-Link's commercial grade WAP's at work and I have a D-link router at home and they're very good, reliable products. With Amazon's 30 day return policy I figured that I could always send it back if it had problems out of the box. The price is very competitive and I really like the fact that the antennas are external and detachable. Being able to upgrade the antennas is a big plus. I received hardware version B1 with firmware 2.10. If you look at the firmware release notes on the D-Link website there have been a lot of bug fixes since the product release. I also think that AP mode is inherently more stable and faster than repeater/extender mode because you have a lossless connection back to the router. With powerline network adapters you can place the access point anywhere you have an electrical outlet that shares a breaker box with your router.

Overall, I'm glad I got it. It does the job quite nicely.

I've owned a Global chef's knife for almost 2 years. It continues to perform very well although it has lost its sharpness. Because of its impressive performance, I've given away my other knives and use the Global almost exclusively. Because the knife was expensive, I wanted to sharpen it properly and did a lot of research before buying the Minosharp sharpening guides. Based on experience, sharpening with a stone is still superior to fancy and costly ready-made sharpeners like the Minosharp plus. I can buy a new Global for the price of that sharpener. Although I know how to use a stone and had success with sharpening smaller knives, my hands are too small to maintain the right angle for the 10-inch Global. I used the Minosharp guides soon after receiving them in the mail and they worked like a charm! Great value for less than 15 bucks. My Global is now as sharp as the day I took it out of the box. Other reviewers pointed out that the guides can scratch the knife. I avoided scratches by covering my knife with 2 layers of transparent 3M shipping tape that was wide enough to cover the path of the sharpening guide (one layer could have done it but I wanted to be sure). I had no problem sliding a guide down the covered back of the knife. For those new to sharpening with a stone, I highly recommend that you watch Mino Tshuchida's knife sharpening tutorial on youtube. He works for Global and his video is the official tutorial from the company. The video can be a bit difficult to understand because of Mr Tshuchida's thick accent but after you watch it a few times you will learn a lot of tips. Happy slicing!

Despite claims that the plastic inserts prevent knife scratches, the first and only time I used these guides, they scratched my 8" Wustof chef's knife badly. Do not buy.

The guides do what they are supposed to do for the most part. It makes it a lot easier to keep the angle. It doesn't work on the curved part of the blade because the angle changes, but by the time you get to that part, you should have a pretty good enough feel for it to not need the guide. The big down side to these guides is that if you are not careful, they will make marks/scratches on your knife (even with the plastic liner that they claim prevents scratches). The first time I slid this on from the tip of the knife as the instructions told me to do, and it made very noticeable streaks on the side of my knife. I quickly learned that you have to carefully shimmy it on to the location you want. DO NOT SLIDE. Even shimmying it on made some marks.

Overall, though I'm pretty annoyed with the marks on my nice Global chef's knife, I'll still use these because they help make sharpening easier, until I can get used to keeping the proper angle on my own. I guess I'm okay with sacrificing some blemishes to get a proper edge on my knife.
